Those not the masterful craft of T.H. White, Idylls of the King tells the classic tale of King Arthur and his round table. Tennyson tells of the famous deeds of Gawain and Lancelot, but also tells of the lesser known tales of Balan and Balin/5(9). Written in the middle of his career, Idylls of the King is Tennyson's longest and most ambitious work.
